At BioFi we are re-imagining virtual biology by building category defining technology from the ground up. We develop the most accessible and biologically accurate technology to build a first-in-class integrated platform to model, simulate and program biology. And we use our technologies to help solve some of the most difficult biological challenges.
Our core technology platform is called Endogenics, which enables the development of virtual twins that resemble their real biological counterparts. That is, Endogenics emulates biology by employing the same continuous framework that characterizes biology itself.
You will be part of an exciting revolution stemming from our enabling technologies which allow a deeper understanding of how and why biological mechanisms function.
In short, we are looking not just for co-developers of virtual biological models, but potential co-inventors.
BioFi AG is a new Swiss company located in Basel. We operate within a broad space characterized by living systems of all types; from single cells to larger biological systems like tissues.
It is a natural succession of an older American company, Crowley Davis Research, Inc. (CDR) which developed our current technological foundation.
We intend to greatly expand BioFi’s influence not only within the life sciences, but well beyond and into new industrial applications of living cells, such as health products, alternative energy sources, cosmetics and more.
We consider ourselves to be democratic professionals with high standards for excellence in all facets of our work. We accept no less than pure, biological fidelity.
While we do have a relatively flat management structure (someone has to sign the checks and take the heat), we also expect mutual respect without regard for status or position.
In short, we intend to create an exciting and fulfilling environment where such a thing as a “stupid question” does not exist. Everyone’s suggestion or opinion matters, where no idea is too small or too large.
